Our Pastor

Tom Burns : 1998-Present

Pastor Tom has been a senior pastor for more than thirty years, serving at two churches in Southern California during that time. He has been here at Community Baptist Church since November of 1998.

He is passionate about this occupation because of God’s guarantee found in Malachi 3:16-4:1. Here God guarantees spiritual healing (v 2a), spiritual growth (v 2b), and spiritual victory (v 3) to those who will band together in a local assembly as His faithful remnant.

He and his wife, Pam, met at this church when they were teenagers and were married here in 1986.  They have one adult daughter who is currently serving in full-time ministry outside of the United States.
